At Hèlia, we participated in the XVII Forum against Gender Violence organised by the Plataforma Unitària contra les violències de gènere (“Unitary Platform against Gender Violence”), held on 4, 5 and 6 November 2021 in theEspai Francesca Bonnemaison and in Comissions Obreres (CCOO) trade union building in Barcelonaorganising two activities on Saturday, 6 November:

– from 10 am to 12 noon in face-to-face format, in the screening video-forum and colloquium of the documentary “La Luz invisible” (“The Invisible Light”).
– from 12 noon to 2 pm in the face-to-face and streaming roundtable “Dissident Maternity: Forms of Resistance to Racism and Islamophobia”. This was co-organised with the Institut de les Desigualtats (“Inequality Institute”) and Joventut Multicultural Musulmana (“Multicultural Muslim Youth”).
