Exhibition “Signs of Identity: Portraits of Women”

2019-Present

“Senyes d’identitat. Retrats de dones” (“Signs of Identity: Portraits of Women”) is a travelling exhibition produced by the Eixample District, the result of a project by the Fundació Joan Miró with Hèlia Dones, designed and created by CLICme. It is the result of a process of introspection and learning, using photography as a tool to show what they wish from their personal situation.

“Senyes d’identitat. Retrats de dones” takes as its starting point the discovery of Lee Miller’s life story and artistic career, whose photographs can be seen in the exhibition exposició Lee Miller i el surrealisme a la Gran Bretanya.

Do you want to know how the participating women experienced the process? You can read their article published in the Fundació Miró’s blog in January 2019 here!

The exhibition begins its journey through the civic centers of the Eixample and other facilities in the city after a break of almost two years due to health restrictions
