Mediterranean women against gender violence. Women’s support groups and networks in Palestine for the prevention and peacebuilding

The Marhaba Delegation consisted of 21 women who visited Palestine to establish collaborative ties with Palestinian women’s organisations. The project was developed in agreement with the Fundación Socialismo Sin Fronteras and Pau Sempre. Visits were made to the Bethlehem and Nablus shelters where the centre’s professionals reflected together on the state of Palestinian women’s rights. The aim was to work towards a life free of sexist violence against women in the complex context of the Israeli occupation.
