We at the Associació Hèlia want to deploy and consolidate a support network between women, formed by volunteer women from all over Catalonia, trained in the fight against sexist violence against women, who use networking with bodies, institutions and organisations to provide social and community support in the recovery process for women survivors of sexist violence, facilitating women’s empowerment and building societies free of sexist violence against women. We support organisations and groups in other neighbourhoods, towns and cities who want to replicate this experience in their local area, advising and sharing our working methodology to implement their support network between neighbours.
